Playing Catch Up

To catch every one up since I have been a slacker at blogging...

March 5, was my birthday. And what a wonderful birthday it was! I am now officially OLD!! Ok, so maybe just 24. My boyfriend broke up with me 5 days before my birthday, and as much as I liked him, I'm really ok with not having a boyfriend. Really I am! I am quite familiar with the break up scene and feelings. Typical break up so everything was easy to deal with. I don't need a man to make me happy. So it was all Happy Birthday to MEEEEE!!!!

I had my midterms back in the end of February which actually went surpisingly well. I got an A grade (48/50) on my sport psychology test which is almost unheard of for that class. That made my day. My canoeing class also started that week since it's a block class. I'm not sure if I'm going to like that class or not. We had a really cold winter and so all the lakes around are still frozen, and my teacher tells us that even if it's snowing we are still getting in the water. I don't know about you, but I'm not a huge fan of hypothermia. I don't even know how well I'm going to be with my fear of water. I took a swimming class last semester, but haven't gotten in a lake since then to test out my built up swimming confidence.

It's almost April and we all know what that means...school is almost done with. Atleast for the time being. And we are all moving. I have done my share of apartment hunting. My friend Malia will be living with me. We are looking for private rooms. We deffinately don't want to share a room with anyone. The top 3 apartments I've looked into are: King Henry, Centenial, and some condos on 900 East. The condo is really nice, but it isn't the cheapest! If any one wants 2 room mates, or has any good ideas about where to live for the summer, please let me know.

And on a random note: what's up with all the bridal showers lately? There's almost one a week! I went to one just the other day and I remembered why I don't like to attend them. Yeah sure the food is good, the friends are great to see, but other than that what is the deal with the cheesey games???? I got 2 words for all the "future brides" out there: OPEN HOUSE.

Hahaha! Debi... you make me laugh. I sure enjoyed reading it. I know that my sister, when she was first married, found a three room apt just for the two of them for less than 500 a month. It was in single housing and they were desperate to rent out the apartment. Maybe something like that would work out for you. The apt name is Foxwood (II?). I've heard Centennial is a good place though I've never been there myself.
