Pure Genius!

So I woke up this morning like a typical morning thinking to myself "what day is it?" Thinking it was a Wednesday and not a Tuesday morning I went back to sleep. I had completely forgotten that I had a test this morning. Thankfully I woke up about 10 minutes later and realized it was Tuesday and got out of bed. I got to school and took my test. After I answered question 8, I found that that was the only answer that I knew was right and all the other answers up to that point were guesses. Needless to say after taking the test I didn't feel good about the test at all. I will find out on Thursday what my grade is. After school I went home and didn't do a thing. I didn't want to think about school or homework. I had spent the last several days doing nothing but mindless homework.

At 3:00pm I went to work. I usually have a key to get into the check-in closet at the IRS building, however a few days ago my co-worker Lee took it from me because he doesn't have one and was going to be needing it, however he didn't return it. So when I got to the IRS building I borrowed the extra set of keys from the guys that work there. I opened the closet door, signed in and left the keys next to the clip board. On my way out, the door shut behind me. The keys, my work materials, my personal belonging, everything was in locked in the closet. I called my supervisor (my dad) to see if he could bring me his set of keys. Unfortuneately he was in Lindon and couldn't. He told me to see Wendell (the supervisor at the building), apparently he also has a key. I went to Wendells office but he was out for the day. I called my dad back and he said that the only other way to get a key is to go get his spare keys at the Federal building. I explained to him that my keys to my truck were also in the closet, at which point he suggested that I walk there. So I did. Finally I got back to the IRS building got everything out of the closet, returned all the keys and finished working at the building. Man, I felt like an idiot!

It was a rough day.

I hate those kind of days. They happen more often than anyone wishes. In a way it is kind of humbling though.
